My deepest condolences to You all! I never met Joe but had corresponded with him before his death thru ancestry. Joe would have been my mom’s second cousin. Their grandparents Nora and Batt were siblings. I feel it was blessing to have corresponded with Joe. He shared pictures of Nora’s parents and home. Regrettably I was not able to meet him in person. May the happy memories of Joe bring you comfort. From : Kathleen Hutt<Huttkp@gmail.com>

Aside from the one time when I brought a cork gaa bag into his house, I have never seen Joe upset, and even then I was quickly forgiven. Every memory I have of Joe was of a happy go lucky man, kind hearted and sweet toothed. Very grateful that mairead got to meet him and I think he can rest knowing he has left a hell of a legacy with 4 great sons and Saint Betty to put up with them. Sad not to share a laugh with him ever again but happy that he had a peaceful farewell. Our thoughts are with Betty, Kyle, Collins, Liam and Cian especially at this time. Continue to do him proud. From : Sadie Hyde<owen.hyde.interiorarchitect@gmail.com>

My deepest sympathies to all of Joe\'s family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I knew Joe from my childhood he used to train with my Dad at Na Piarsaigh and in later years he collected me many times in the taxis. He always greeted me with a smile and was a kind, funny and gentle man.
