O'Connell (Cork): On March 7, 2013, peacefully, at the Cork University Hospital, JOHN (late of CIE, Road Freight), beloved husband of the late Kathleen (nee Murphy) (recently deceased) Redemption Road, loving father of Tony and Saundra (Manning) and brother of Maureen (Barnes) and the late Hannah, Eily, Nora, Bridie, Thomas and Mikey. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren, sister, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters- in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on this (Friday) evening at 7pm followed by removal to the Church of the Annunciation, Blackpool. Requiem Mass on tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully. Requiescat in pace
