O'Brien (Ascension Heights, Churchfield, Cork and formerly of Dublin): On February 5, 2013, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the dedicated care of the doctors, nurses and staff of The Mercy University Hospital, JAMES THOMAS (late of 4th Battalion, Collins Barracks, Cork), dearly beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Breda Long), devoted father of Jim, Gerard, Margaret, Tony, Lynda (Moore), Thomas, John, Brendan and Mary (Downey). Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his loving family, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his carer Johanna, relatives, neighbours and his many friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on this (Wednesday) evening at 6.45pm, followed by removal to St. Mary's on the Hill Church, Knocknaheeny. Requiem Mass on tomorrow (Thursday) at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully. Requiescat in pace.
