Slocum (Cork): On September 23, 2012, peacefully, after a short illness, at the Cork University Hospital, DENIS, Summerstown Drive, Glasheen, beloved husband of Nora and loving father of Mary and Michael. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, grandchildren, sisters, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Lorraine, nephews, nieces, brother- in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Removal on tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7pm to St. Josephs S.M.A. Church, Wilton. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarrs Cemetery. Requiescat in pace.
