MURPHY (Cork): On April 18, 2012, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff of Marymount Hospice, EUGENE (HUGHIE) (late of Gouldings and Maymount AFC), beloved husband of Mary (nee Buckley), Harbour View Road and loving father of Eileen, Barry, Bernadette, Robert, Valerie, Jackie, Carol, Donacha and Deirdre. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, and Sheila, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on today (Thursday) at 8pm. Removal on tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm to the Church of St Mary's on the Hill, Knocknaheeny. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Mary's Cemetery, Curraghkippane. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice. Requiescat In Pace.
