AHERN (Cork): On December 21, 2011, peace- fully, at the Mercy University Hospital, JOHN, Delaney Park, Dublin Hill (late ESB and Delanys F&H Club), beloved husband of Maeve (nee O'Sullivan), loving father of Linda, Ian and Brian and adored grand- father of Luke, Aoife and Ellie. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces, son-in-law Jerry, his sons' partners Ursula and Eilish, relatives and friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary this (Thurs- day) evening at 7.30pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Annunciation, Blackpool. Requiem Mass on tomorrow (Friday) at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully. Requiescat in pace.
