O’Connell (The Rise, Bishopstown & formerly Roman Street, Shandon) on February 17th 2024, peacefully in the presence of his loving family at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice; Dominic (late of C.I.E and the Esso Oil Company). Beloved husband of the late Susan (nee Manning), much loved father of Paul, Kevin, David, Grace, Noel and the late infant Raymond and dear brother of the late Jack and Joe. Sadly missed by his heartbroken sons, daughter, brother Barry, sister Marie, grandchildren Ryan, Norah and Alec, daughter-in-law Kristal, son-in-law Wolfgang, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home on Monday 19th February from 6pm-7pm with prayers at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 20th February at 11am in the Church of the Real Presence, Curraheen Road. Funeral afterwards to St. Oliver’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Marymount.  Requiescat in pace.
