GAMBLE (Cork) On January 31st 2024 peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the dedicated care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Cork University Hospital, ELIZABETH (BETTY, née Long), Maglin Grove, Togher and late of Churchfield Place East; beloved wife of the late Joe and loving mother of Michael, Lorraine, Lisa, Mary, Joe and John Paul, daughter of the late Cornelius and Mary Long. Sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchild, brothers, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, relatives and a large circle of friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Friday, February 2nd. Visitation same evening from 6pm - 7pm with Prayers at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, February 3rd, at 10am in the Church of The Way of The Cross, Togher. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael's Cemetery, Blackrock.
