O’Byrne (Cork) on January 14th 2024, peacefully in the tender care of the staff at the Transitional Unit, St. Finbarr’s Hospital; James (Jim), Chaple Hill, off Roman Street. Beloved husband of the late Ellen (Nell) (nee Tobin), loving father of Tony, Seamus, Tina and the late Edward and Linda (Varian), brother of Kathleen, Ann and the late Mary. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, son-in-law Michael – Anthony, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law Noel, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Jim’s funeral has taken place privately at his own request. Requiescat In Pace
