Obituary

COOKE (Fairfield Avenue, Farranree, Cork): On April 17, 2014, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the excellent care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St Mary's Ward, Mercy University Hospital, DENIS (DINNY) (late of CIE, Na Piarsaigh H/F Club and former caretaker of the North Presentation Secondary School), dearly beloved husband of Ann (nee O'Flaherty), devoted dad of Michael, Marie, Margaret (Ryan), John, Denis, Tony, Concepta (Connie Vaughan), Frank and Ann. Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his loving wife, family, sister Margaret, brother Richard, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in- law, brothers-in-law, sister- in-law, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at O'Connor Bros Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on today (Good Friday) at 5pm. Removal on tomorrow (Holy Saturday) at 6pm to the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. Requiem Mass on Easter Monday at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully. Requiescat in pace
