Long (Cork) On December 24th 2013 (Christmas Eve) after a short illness bravely borne with courage, dignity and great humour in the presence of her loving family, Kathleen (Ka) (nee McCarthy), Broguemakers Hill, Shandon Street and formerly of Tyrone Place, Tower Street. Beloved wife and best friend of Denis and loving mother of Derek, Ciara, Valerie, Joy, Aileen, Shane, Sarah and the late Kela, adored nana of Alex, Ryan, Jack, Josh, Shane, Shaun, Aimee and Pádraig, loving sister of Jo, Gemma, Eamonn, Maud, Charlie and the late Ann and Monica. Sadly missed by her loving husband and family, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on Friday at 6.45pm followed by Removal to St. Finbarr's (South) Church. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully. Requiescat in pace.
