Obituary

O'HALLORAN (Shanakiel, Cork): On December 9, 2013, peacefully, at the Bon Secours Hospital, after a brief illness, LOUIS, beloved husband of Cathleen (Cato), devoted father of Adrienne (Kennedy), Brid (Cudmore), Conall, Donal, Edel (O'Halloran-Linden), Finbarr and Gavan and brother of Fr. Michael OP, Ferdie, Brendan, Celine (Lynch), Rita (Murphy) and the late Bernadette. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law Pat, Denis and Hartmut, daughters-in-law Elizabeth, Jane and Jo, relatives and friends.

Reception to the Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit, Dennehy's Cross at 7pm on today (Tuesday). Requiem Mass on tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St. Joseph's Cemetery. House private. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu, to Cork Cancer Research Centre. Requiescat in pace.
