Ahern (Cathedral Road, Cork): On July 31, 2013, peacefully, but unexpectedly, in the presence of his devoted and loving family, at the Mercy University Hospital, PAT (late of HGW), dearly beloved husband and best friend of the late Eily (nee Keating), much loved dad of Edward and Maria (Lucey), cherished grandfather of Vicki. Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his heartbroken family, sisters Nellie, Mary and Ann, nephews, nieces, son-in-law Michael, daughter-in-law Cheryl, relatives, neighbours and his many dear friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on this (Thursday) evening at 6.45pm followed by removal to the Cathedral. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am.
