O'Byrne (Cork): On May 24, 2013, peacefully, at the Mercy University Hospital, ELLEN (NELL) (nee Tobin), Chapel Hill, off Roman Street, beloved wife of James and loving mother of Tony, Seamus, Tina and the late Edward, mother-in-law of the late Linda (nee Varian) and sister of Noel and the late Julia, Kitty, Neddy, Michael and Francis. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, nephews, nieces, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on today (Monday) at 7.30pm, followed by removal to the Cathedral. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 1pm. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, to Children's Leukaemia Ward, Mercy University Hospital.Requiescat in pace.
