Murphy (Cork): On May 26, 2013, very peacefully, in the tender and loving care of her family and the exceptional care of the nurses and staff of Youghal Nursing Home, Gortroe, in her 96th year, NORA (late Closes Road and Farranferris Crescent), beloved wife of the late John and loving mother of Marie, Sheila, Kevin, Vera and John, devoted grandmother. Sadly missed and deeply mourned by her loving family, daughters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and her many dear friends. Reposing at O'Connor Bros Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on this (Monday) evening at 5.30pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. Requiem Mass on tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12.30pm. Funeral afterwards to St Finbarr's Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, if desired, to the Cork Alzheimer's Association. Requiescat in pace.
