From : Pat Courtney<clannaris@eircom.net>
I wish to express my condolence on the death of Father John. As a former member of the SMA, I knew him well as a fellow missionary and a lecturer in Maynooth College in 1973. I will always remember his kindness to me during the Biafran war in Nigeria. His words of encouragement and his kind financial support to me will always be remembered. From : Joseph Costello<josephcos@gmail.com>
Sincerest sympathies for a lovely man. Regards to Fr Micheal whom I knew in Kildare more than fifty years ago where we were both studying. May the good Lord welcome him home with a big kiss and a hug. From : Deirdre kavanagh (née Daly)<Deirdre.kavanagh@hotmail.com>
