Obituary

Lenihan (Cork and Newcastlewest, Co. Limerick): On January 25, 2011, peacefully at the Bon Secours Care Village, Mount Desert, Lee Road, JOHN (Sgt. retired A.M.C. General Military Hospital, Collins Barracks, Cork and Customs and Excise, Sullivans Quay), beloved husband of Margaret (Peggy nee O’Connell), late of Churchfield, dear father of William, Sheila, Angela, Gerard, Jim, John, David, Paul, Marie (Power) and the late Patrick. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, grandchildren, great-grandchild Elsa, nephews, nieces, son-in-law Ger, daughters-in-law Catherine, Colette, Mary and Terri, relatives, friends and his old comrades. Reposing at St.Joseph’s Hospital Chapel, Mount Desert. Removal on this (Wednesday) evening at 6.30pm from Hospital Chapel to The Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. Requiem Mass on tomorrow (Thursday) at 1pm. Funeral afterwards to St.Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
