Bateman (Carrigaline, Co. Cork) On August 22nd 2026, peacefully at Cork University Hospital: William, beloved husband of Patricia (nee Ross) and loving father of Alan, Jonathan, Linda (Daunt) and Ross, dear brother of Robert and the late Harold. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law Geraldine, Eileen and Gemma, son-in-law Cyril, cherished grandchildren Sam, Aaron, Gary, Sarah, Katie, Amelia, Abbie, Charlie, Matthew and Andrew, sister-in-law Miriam, relatives, neighbours and friends. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care given to William by all the doctors and staff at CUH. Funeral Service at St. Luke’s Church of Ireland, Douglas, Co. Cork on Wednesday 26th August at 2.30pm. Followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.
