Matthews (Killeens, Cork) on August 18th 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully in the presence of her loving family at the Mater Misericordae University Hospital, Dublin; Rachel. Beloved partner of James Ryan, much loved mother of Joe, dearest sister of Karen and loving daughter of the late Joe and Breda Matthews. Sadly missed by her heartbroken partner, son, sister, brother-in-law Damien, niece Nicole, extended family, especially Lillian, a large circle of cherished friends and godchildren Aoife and Jake. Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Sunday 23rd August from 4pm-5pm with prayers at 4.45pm. Requiem Mass in the North Cathedral on Monday 24th August at 11.30am.
