Long (Mount Agnes Road, Farranree, Cork), on May 4th 2023, peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at The Mercy University Hospital; Bridie (née Byrne), beloved wife of the late Michael, much loved mother of Michael, Noreen, Eugene, Martin, Patrick, Denis, Kevin and Gerard, and dear sister of the late Sheila, May, John, Denis, Eugene and Billy. Sadly missed by her heartbroken sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Noreen, brother, Paddy, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Visitation at O' Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Monday May 8th from 5.00pm to 6.00pm, with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass in The Church of The Resurrection, Farranree on Tuesday May 9th at 11.00am. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully.
