Kelly, Desmond (Des) Fairhill and late of Cladagh, Galway. On the 2nd of May 2022 Des passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family who are left heartbroken after a long hard battle with illness. Sadly missed by his loving wife Breda, daughters Mary, Michelle, Aisling & only son Paul, daughter in law Joanne, sons in law Niall & Jason, grandchildren Roxanne, Shauna, Ryan & Callum, great-granddaughters Kiera, Amelia & Betsie. Brother of Anthony, Caroline and the late William, Brendan, Paddy, Mark, John, Raymond, Bridie & Agnes. Also missed by his special nephew Vincent, extended family and friends. Special thanks to all the carers and nurses that helped him through illness from the beginning, the nursing staff of St Bridget’s in the Mercy hospital and a heartfelt thanks to all the staff of Marymount who showed tremendous care and compassion in his final days. Private family wake.
