Ahern (Cork) on January 14^th 2022 unexpectedly at the Mercy University Hospital; Kathleen (Kitty), Templeacre Avenue, Gurranabraher (late of Lucey’s Boreen). Beloved wife of the late Michael, loving mother of Mary (Mooney), Helen (O’Regan), Breda (McCarthy), Elizabeth (Beckom) and the late Michael and loving sister of Lena and the late Jimmy, Paddy, Maura and Willie. Sadly missed by her loving daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Sunday 16^th January at 3pm to 4pm with Rosary at 3.45pm. Reception into the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher on Monday 17^th January at 10.50am for 11am Requiem Mass. Kathleen’s Mass will be live streamed on the following link: www.gurranabraherparish.ie/webcam/. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
