Desmond (Cork) – On August 9^th, 2021 peacefully, in the presence of his loving family, after a short illness, Kevin, Bellair, Douglas Road and late of Chapel Street; dearly loved husband of Carmel (née Murphy) and much loved father of Ciaran (Kieran), Miriam, Elaine, Carmel, Julie Ann and Maighread, brother of the late Mai?read, Chris, Frances and Cyril.  Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brothers Barry, Tony and Declan, grandchildren Seán, Sorcha, Clíodhna, Cillian, Con, Des, Caoimhe, Julie, Diarmaid, Darragh, Fearghal, Charlie, Anna and Ollie, sons-in-law John, Bryan and Michael, daughter-in-law Fionnuala, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. To follow best practices and guidelines and with the support of Kevin’s family, the Funeral will take place privately.  Condolences may be added at www.rip.ie or at www.oconnorfuneralcork.ie  Thank you for your understanding and co-operation. Kevin’s Funeral Cortege will leave his home on Thursday, August 12^th at 11.30am en route to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballinlough for 12 noon Requiem Mass which will be live-streamed on the following link: www.churchservices.tv/ballinloughlourdes
