Obituary

DENNEHY (Cork) on February 14^th, 2021 (peacefully) at the Cork University Hospital, RAYMOND (RAY), Manor Hill, Ballincollig, (late Water Dept., Cork City Council & Cork Civil Defence). Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Hegarty), loving father of Linda (O’Flynn), Leonora (Herlihy), Kathy (McGovern), Ray (Jr.) and Roseanne (Whelan) and brother of the late Angela, Dolores, Eleanor and Oonagh. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, grandchildren Ben, Amy, Faye, Sophia, Noah, Megan, Charlotte, Matthew, Jake, Callum, Jamie and Sam, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law Alan, Brian, James and Colm, daughter-in-law Jenette, relatives, neighbours and friends. To follow best practices and guidelines and with the support of Ray’s family the funeral will take place privately. Ray’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on Wednesday at 11:00am at https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig.
