In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.KAHN ABID ALI: On January 6, 2011, former surgeon of the North Infirmary, Cork and Ardkeen Regional Hospital, Waterford, peacefully, at Waterford Regional Hospital. Sadly missed by his loving daughter Tahira, grandson Frank Ali, granddaughter Ameena, brother Maboab Ali, nieces, nephews, in Bangalore and Delhi, friends and former colleagues. As per Abid's wishes and Islamic traditions will be buried with his late wife, Amina, in St Luke's Churchyard, Douglas, Cork on tomorrow (Saturday), January 8 at 10.30am. Memorial Service at a later stage, date to be confirmed.
